Time for a trip down memory lane

We actually finished this up a while ago, around few days after our deaths. But I sat on this for a while because I was still rolling around in the salt mine. I’m still salty. 😦

Anyway, salty me has decided to release this because with how Japan being Japan again recently, we don’t know how long Nyaa would last. So we’d better get it out before anything happens.

Some afterthoughts regarding the story that I forgot to add into the TL notes:

The “tax” they talk about in the play is probably “rice”. Farmers would farm crops and pay a portion as Rice Tax. This rice would go into paying the non farming class, or be sold into money which would then go into infrastructure and stuff. So this tax was actually pretty important, and Gentarozaemon wasn’t being completely greedy when he wanted to raise tax revenue. However, he went overboard when he went as far as to cancelling festivals, and using force to do it.

At Nakano Sun Plaza

Nakano Sun Plaza was like less than 5mins walk away from where I lived in Japan.
Emphasis on LIVED. Past tense. I don’t live in Japan anymore.

We’re back with another Zachou Kouen!
This one has higher production values compared to the first one, more inside jokes and anime references.
Also, Sugita being Sugita.
However, trigger warning for people who cannot stand Japanese being nationalistic in history…

[Re-release] Lyrical Party V

Remember when our Lyrical Party V and Symphogear Live subs got us a strike on Youtube and decimated our Daily Motion?
We uploaded a sad music placeholder video to replace Symphogear Live and released just the subtitle file….
But we didn’t do so for Lyrical Party V….

That’s because we were giving it an upgrade! 😀

[ENG SUB] Zachou Kouen Mizuki Nana Ooi ni Utau

At Shinjuku Koma Gekijo (Which doesn’t exist anymore)

Our YT channel unexpectedly hit 777 faster than we finish making our 777 celebration video… Nevertheless it is done! We never expected our little experiment to last this long…

For those who don’t know, Nana has a series of stage performance events that she does with a few seiyuu friends. This is the first one. (Sorry for bad explanations.) It’s all in all comedic and full of ad-lib shenanigans.

We released this some time ago, but not long after it got flagged by King Records.

It got taken down. Dark times. Press F to pay respects.

Our video is gone, but we had kept the subtitle file still available where we uploaded it on nyaa. Though it seems like people are using it without crediting us…. And this comes after we received flak from watermarking our uploaded videos. You people are toxic. 😦
