Explanation regarding the school compound at night:

Apparently, if you google “夜の校舎” (school compound at night), the first result is a 1985 song 「卒業」 (Graduation) by Ozaki Yutaka.

From the Japanese Wikipedia of this song, it is said the song planted the idea of delinquency into teenagers, and that many of them were influenced by the song lyrics, “夜の校舎　窓ガラス　壊してまわった” (Broke the school compound’s glass windows at night) into actually breaking their school windows. Later came the whatnots with mass media and how teens were exercising self-expression. After the singer’s death, his widow revealed that he never actually broke any windows while writing the song.

The Tsubasa eye control plot was retaliation for her complains on AXZ

TL Notes:
CM1: Biki can’t say anything, so she pretends that she read the incident from an unknown sports newspaper.

CM2: Symphogear a family friendly show? NOT MY SYMPHOGEAR.

CM3: Next is Vanessa, I guess.

CM4: Elfnein says this, but gets to sing immediately in the next episode.

CM5: In AXZ CM Tsubasa complains about her employment rights. Now the staff retaliate by giving her eye Mojo. Troublesome Tsubasa is bae.

CM6: Hiyochi Maria hears nothing but Apple. If you hear anything else, it’s a horror show you live in.

CM7: Garie did not run off to find the production staff on her own. She is here. She is not rotten like in GX.

CM8: Miku Shemha making reference to a real life song title. Apparently this is the first time bleeps were used in Symphogear CMs.

CM9: Chris, you guys have been trolling since G.

CM10: Oh Kirika you…..

CM11: What did you want to work hard in, Shirabe? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

CM12: In GX, when Carol first transforms into her adult form with her faust robe, she states that she could feel the excitement below her belly button. Now Garie is making fun of her for saying that.

[ENG SUB] Symphogear Self Trolling CM AXZ

Ogawa has forgotten what it means to be a ninja!

TL Notes
CM1: That mental calculated trajectory hand brake pull was apparently a memorable scene among the Symphogear staff.

CM2: The commander was imitating Hibiki’s entrance. Can’t tell if it’s done well or not.

CM3: Looks like Tsubasa didn’t realise she was flying along with Biki in their combined move.

CM4: Kirika is referring to how when Adam Weishaupt burned his clothes away, he also bakken-ed.

CM5: Red singing hood is a Symphogear universe anime that Chris enjoys.

CM6: Serena…… LOL.

CM7: Shirabe and Kirika are making fun of Maria’s character song.

CM8: Hiyochi Maria complaining about that epic Genjuuro training scene. Also, Genjuuro was about to play an action movie song but the scene cut before anything plays. Looks like they never got the permission to use the song….

CM9: LOLOLOL Tsubasa.

CM10: Well we all know why no one likes Fudou…

CM11: Biki being trapped in that godly cocoon thing is a real estate property with good view. Gotcha.

CM12: Everyone hates Adam Weishaupt.

CM13: Miku raising flags for season 5…

Bonus CM: Odorinenbutsu is a Buddhist dance ritual thing. Tiki likened the Symphogear concert to a dance ritual, and was surprised to see it in this time and age. Adam on the other hand was surprised that the phrase “Odorinenbutsu” was even used in this time and age.

G = Shirabe, X = Kirika. Got it.

TL Notes:
CM1: Biki thinks that alchemists are like unscrupulous businessmen. It apparently signifies how little everyone knows about the alchemists.

CM2: Tsubasa says she will never forget how the Alca-Noise looks, and yet when told to draw them, that famous Avant Garde was the result.

CM3: Fighting for a chance to sing on the show is so typical of the cast lol.

CM4: Poor Maria.

CM5: They are referring to the ignite module.

CM6: Garie went to talk to production staff alone without the others. So rotten.

CM7: Miku breaking 4th wall.

CM8: Symphogear recording studios are actually famous in the industry for their singing while fighting enabled set up. First and only of its kind.

CM9: Sugita…….

CM10: Chris lololol

CM11: Believe it or not, both cutesy and maam voice belongs to Inoue Kikuko, 17 years old. Showa period runs 1926–1989. Followed by Heisei 1989 – 2019, to the current Reiwa. Looks like maam also realises that her concept of Magical Girls is slightly dated. (And by the way, the entire Alchemist incident is named “Magical Girls Incident” in the show.)

CM12: This is definitely what GX means. Yes. (X was supposed to mark the end of the series though. Until they decided to do season 4 and 5…..)

CM13: GX was a season of daddy issues. Yes.

CM1: No longer hiding the fact that the fist solves everything (for Biki) are we? Also, bishoujo means literally beautiful young girls.

CM2: Biki’s manliness is Genjuuro’s fault.

CM4: Yassai Mossai doesn’t really mean anything. Chris just says it.
